It's been a busy Autumn with the launch of our new project for young composers SOUNDSTREAMS.  We started with courses of workshops in Fife and in East Renfewshire with composers Kenneth Dempster and John Harris. The students completed new music for SFT with Robert Irvine playing 'cello in East Renfrewshire, and for SFT with Rhian Macleod plying Marimba in Fife. The workshops culminated in November with concerts of the students' work at The Byre theatre in St Andrews and at Eastwood Theatre in East Renfrewshire. We've been busy planning concerts for 2010 which will include a tour of new work by Pippa Murphy, John Harris and Kenneth Dempster alongside the best of the new work by some of the students taking part in the SOUNDSTREAMS workshops.

We will also tour to Argyll in March with the amazing guitarist Sean Shibe, and 2010 will also see the release of our new CD of the beautiful Waterfall of Time by Joji Hirota on the seven things label.
